Forty something… Shit, almost fifty years ago a young fighter named Rocky got a chance to prove he could go toe to toe with the beating people to a pulp for entertainment champion. Now, Rocky's protégé is giving that chance to an old friend who might not have the best intentions while beating people to a pulp for entertainment. The latest in this franchise is the first not to include the Italian Stallion, and honestly it does not matter. Michael B. Jordan proves in front of and behind the camera that he can hold his own in the series with a dynamic and interesting vision. The personal stakes are back as Adonis Creed suffers wins and loses, coming out a champion in his life against Jonathan Major's Damien (who is acting his ass off, as usual). Overall a solid entry in the series, although I hope next time they bring back the robot.
